We saw a gap in the market for a platform that truly met our needs. Frustrated with the lack of solutions, we decided to build Swapp ourselves. What started as a way to solve our own challenges has turned into a platform that we believe will help others connect and succeed in ways we couldn't before.
Swapp exists to build a supportive network of industry professionals who grow together — personally, professionally, and collectively. It’s a space to make genuine connections, exchange services, ask questions, share knowledge, and lift each other up in business and in life.

Swapp started with a simple frustration. Harmony, a busy salon owner, loved swapping services with other professionals, but it was hard to track and often awkward. She also realised that, despite providing services every day, she couldn’t always afford to receive them herself. Looking for a better way, she searched for a solution but found nothing. So, she created Swapp.
She searched for a platform like that. Nothing existed. So she built it. What began with a few local friends quickly grew. To keep it fair, Harmony introduced a points system: earn by giving, spend by receiving. Swapp is now a space for beauty and wellness pros to connect, support each other, and enjoy the benefits of the industry they dedicate so much to.
Swapp is a supportive, no-ego community of industry professionals. It’s a space where everyone from experienced veterans to newcomers can connect, share, and grow. We focus on helping each other succeed without judgement.
Currently, we’re building Swapp in Sydney, and once that’s strong, we’ll expand to Melbourne, Queensland, and beyond. Anyone in Australia can join as long as there are members in their area to Swapp with.
Harmony’s journey in the beauty industry began in 2007, working in prestigious spas across Sydney, Auckland, and London. By 2013, she was specialising in lashes and brows, and by 2016, Harmony had opened her first salon. Now a cosmetic brow tattooing expert, she continues to work with clients today. Harmony’s career has seen her work with celebrities and serve on the ABIC self-regulation committee, further cementing her influence in the industry. She holds a CIDESCO qualification, one of the most internationally recognised certifications in beauty, and has opened three salons since 2016.
But, Harmony made it very clear: Swapp isn’t about her — it’s about you. While her career has been fulfilling, the focus here is on creating a space where everyone can connect, learn, and grow together.
